Rehabilitation Services

(Skilled, Restorative & Outpatient)

Rehabilitation services are offered to individuals who require specialized individual treatment for medical conditions including, but not limited to, fractures, strokes, and heart disease. Our physical, occupational and speech therapists specialize in rehabilitation for seniors. All of our rehabilitation services are conveniently performed on-site at our well-equipped Rehabilitation Therapy Center by licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists. Our rehabilitation team develops a comprehensive plan of care to achieve an individual’s maximum independence, quickly and safely.

Physical Therapy

In a broad sense, the role of the physical therapist is to accelerate recovery by helping the body’s natural healing process. To accomplish this, the physical therapist will help the resident improve muscle strength and coordination, manage pain and learn to compensate for any physical limitations caused by illness or injury.

Occupational Therapy

The occupational therapist will help the resident adapt to and overcome any physical limitations that may prevent independent living. Residents will be helped to relearn the skills needed in daily living, such as dressing, grooming, bathing, eating and homemaking. The occupational therapist will provide any adaptive aids necessary for assistance.

Speech Therapy

The speech therapist works to help restore losses affecting the ability to communicate, remember and understand. In addition, the speech therapist can treat swallowing and chewing disorders, assist in coping with communication impairment and treat any difficulties in thinking, planning and memory.

Restorative Therapy

Restorative program is a therapy in which a patient trains on abilities they already have to perfect and maintain them; which in physical therapy and occupational therapy, a patient gains abilities.

Outpatient Therapy

Our Outpatient Therapy Services allow for any person who needs therapy services to receive them closer to home without traveling back to a hospital or outpatient clinic.

Outpatient therapy provides therapeutic intervention to people of all ages following surgery, illness or injury when hospitalization or 24-hour nursing care is not required.
