Our Mission Statement
Oakridge of Plattsburg will provide a nurturing environment for its residents and staff, so that all may experience individual respect, dignity, caring and support while living or working within these walls.
History
In 1968, Plattsburg community members constructed a nursing home to meet the needs of a growing senior population. Our home continued to grow and currently offers Skilled Nursing, Health and Rehabilitation services. Oakridge of Plattsburg is proud of a “Tradition of Excellence.”
Owned by the Community, operations of the nonprofit home are overseen by the Oakridge Board of Directors. The facility does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability or age in admission, treatment or participation in its programs, services and activities or in employment.

Celebrating over 50 Years of Caring for People
Located in a beautiful rural setting, Oakridge is a comfortable, peaceful place to call home. Three delicious home-cooked meals are served daily plus the option to choose from the alternative "Oakridge Diner Menu." Snacks are plentiful if anyone gets hungry between meals or before bedtime. Our activities program is designed for all levels with planned events daily. Scheduled activities include bingo, exercises, van trips in the Oakridge Van and many more too numerous to list. We offer residents free internet access and free access to in-house satellite tv. Our friendly, caring staff is well trained to meet the needs of our residents 24 hours every day.
Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Restorative Therapy are available for rehabilitation and to assist our residents and community members in reaching their optimal levels and maintaining their independence for as long as they are able.
We also offer Outpatient Therapy services for those community members who need rehabilitation following procedure such as knee or hip replacement. You no longer have to travel back to the big city to get the therapy services you need.
